Once a month, we gather a group of members and carpool to our nearest nursing home right here in Nacogdoches! Making the most of our time there, we join the residents in activities such as movie night, playing games, painting nails, and bingo night. While we have fun, we get to enjoy some light conversation with the members of our neighborhood and learn more about each other. By communicating with the elders of our community, we are able to support them with social interactions with a younger generation and we are also able learn from them.
